Google Ad Grants

What is Google Ad Grants?

Ad Grants is the digital marketing program for non-profit organizations, through which Google provides funding, up to $10,000 per month, for sponsored ads, to promote their mission and attract donations or volunteers.

Once you qualify for this, you receive funds for Google Search Ads, specifically for displaying text ads on the Google Search Network.

To access Google Ad Grants, you must:

  • have a google account for associating the organization with the Google Ad Grants program;
  • have a secure, quality website;
  • have regular activity in Google Ads promotion campaigns, which you can also monitor.

Separately, two more conditions must be met:

  • activate your Google Ad Grants account;
  • join the Google Ad Grants program.

Important: It may take several weeks to activate your Google Ad Grants account and it is crucial to consider the eligibility criteria!

Eligibility criteria for NGOs:

  1. the organization must be registered in the TechSoup Romania Program (see details on techsoup.ro);
  2. the organization must be registered as an association, foundation, federation, or religious association and operate with a non-profit, public utility status;
  3. the association must accept Google’s Terms and Conditions for non-profit organizations.
